3. Science North/Science Nord

120 minutes, starting at 10 a.m.

$40 per person

Science North is Northern Ontario's most popular tourist attraction. The four-level science center consists of two snowflake-shape buildings connected by a rock tunnel passing through an ancient geological fault discovered during construction. As you head up to the second level of the main building, discover a 20-metre fin whale skeleton hanging from the ceiling. Then have fun with hands-on exhibits, see live animals, learn about northern ecosystems, visit the butterfly gallery, and explore the Tech and Bio Labs. You can also view side shows in the discovery theatres on site. The blue coats will be happy to answer your questions in either official language.
