Goldie Spencer
Goldie has been a storyteller for over 20 years. She has performed at schools, community centers and festivals in Ontario, Alberta and Sydney, Australia. Her repertoire includes folk/ fairy tales, myths and legends, She has recently begun to write and perform Canadian historical pieces, "Women of the Yukon" and "Les Filles du Roi".
Goldie developed and is teaching a storytelling program at Act 11 Studio, a drama/theater program for people 50+. It is part of Ryerson University's Continuing Education.
Goldie is a founding member of the York Storytelling Guild and was one of the co-ordinators of 1001 Friday Nights of Storytelling for several years. She is also a member of Storytelling Toronto.
