Kathie Kompass is widely recognized as a leading voice in Canadian storytelling and a fixture of the storytelling community in Ottawa. Fables, Fancies, and Facts is her first album. This collection is a mix of Kathie’s original stories and tales from around the world on which she has put her signature twist. Disc 1 has stories for children ages 4-12. Disc 2 has a collection of tales for ages 13 and up.

Here are stories for the young and for the youthful parts of all hearts: family, folktales, fact, and fancy. Each CD also includes a download code for a free digital copy of ‘Fables, Fancies and Facts,’ plus a resource guide for educators and four bonus tracks not included on the CDs.
