La Maison des arts de la paroleLa Maison des arts de la parole (formerly Productions Littorale) is a cultural organization dedicated to promote and disseminate storytelling and performance poetry in the Eastern Townships.
We regularly present storytelling shows for children and adults and performance poetry shows in the heart of downtown Sherbrooke. In parallel, we orchestrate two annual festivals: the festival Les jours sont contés, an event that unfolds every year throughout the Eastern Townships, with storytellers from Quebec and abroad, and, most recently, the festival du texte court, devoted to brief literary and performative practices.
Wishing to participate in the development of storytelling in Quebec, we also offer workshops for professional and emerging artists across the province. Because we believe in the educational value and social impact of storytelling and performance poetry, we also offer activities in schools, among other community actions.
