For the past 30 years, Faye has been weaving folklore, personal story, history and science into original tales full of mystery, humour and passion. More recently, she has focused especially on traditional wisdom tales, and her first book, "A Wealth of Compassion: 50 Multicultural Stories of Compassion and Hope" is due to be released by Skinner House Press in the summer of 2016.
Faye often shares stories at the First Unitarian Church of Victoria where she runs the spiritual exploration program for children, youth, and families. There, she chooses stories that explore our relationship with nature, with one another and with ourselves. She tells stories that inspire generosity and hope, and especially loves tales that celebrate seasonal changes. She has a Masters of Education, with a focus on storytelling as a tool for environmental change.
Faye has a large repertoire of personal and family tales, inspired by love, marriage, immigration, travel, time spent in nature, and her vivid imagination.
Faye will work with you too, to help you tell your story.
