Introducing a new storytelling club from ‘Lonely No More,’ a program for rural and isolated seniors in Ontario’s Huron, Perth, Grey-Bruce, and Lambton Counties.
The Lonely No More Program is excited to announce the launch of their new monthly Storytelling Club. This Club is open to all community members interested in listening, learning and trying the art of storytelling.
The first four tellers featured include some of our friends from the Baden Storytellers’ Guild! You can learn more and register for Lonely No More’s Storytelling Club here.

You're invited! THE FEAST FEST - A Celebration of Asian Stories
The Federation of Asian Storytellers would like to invite all members of Storytellers of Canada to attend the inaugural FEAST FEST, an online celebration of Asian stories featuring 168 storytellers, dancers and musicians from 27 countries in Asia and around the world; with three hours of storytelling every single day from 15- 31st October. FEAST is offering SC-CC members a discount on festival registration, but only until September 30th!

The Shoe Project launches Afghan Fund
The Shoe Project announces the creation of IN THEIR SHOES, its fund to support and empower Afghan women on their arrival in Canada. Professional women’s livelihoods, families and lives are in danger under Taliban rule. The fund will allow The Shoe Project to offer trauma counselling, one-on-one peer mentoring, and ESL preparation, in addition to its well-recognized writing workshops and performances.
