The TALES Storytelling Festival celebrates the art of oral storytelling in its many manifestations. The festival includes school programs, a story slam competition, free daytime stages for listeners of all ages, a youth showcase, a ticketed evening main stage performance, and workshops for tellers of all ability levels. The TALES Festival takes place in Edmonton's Old Strathcona district the week-end following the Victoria Day week-end in May.
