Raconteurs Storytelling GREAT March Events
We have TWO great events in March!
First up -- Wednesday March 9th (THAT'S TOMORROW!!!) we are sharing stories with a "CARPE DIEM!" spirit, all about seizing the day, taking chances, throwing caution to the wind!
Dion Ventress tells a story of how he wound up directing Kosovo's first horror film!
Sanbula Zaidi shares her story of setting out to see the world on a 16 month backpacking trip -- and falling in love on the second day!
Lauchie Reid, member of Toronto artist collective Team Macho, shares a story of a close call while skydiving!
Plus Jeremy Greenberg, James Gangl, Saul Colt, and Réal Carrière!
This event will be held at TRANZAC (292 Brunswick Ave) at 7:30 pm! Tickets $10 at the door!
We're presenting an event in partnership with CBC Literary Prizes on March 16th at The Great Hall!
Storytellers include CBC host and comedian Ali Hassan, storyteller extraordinaire Arianne Shaffer, Canada's Twitter sweetheart Jason Sweeney, lawyer and comedian J. Scott Cowan, and Dora award winning poet and performer D'bi Young Anitafrika!
