FEST Call for staff for European Project
FEST is currently looking for a part-time freelance project assistant for Stories XFM, an Erasmus+ project in which gender norms, diversity and equality in stories and ways to use these stories to discuss gender issues with youth are explored.
Stories XFM is a partnership between 5 organizations, consisting of: Ouvir et Contar, Pontedincontro, Infofront Prilep, FEST, and the Storytelling Centre (lead partner) and runs in both 2024 and 2025.
FEST is looking for someone (within a EU-member state) with good organizational skills and an affinity for both the subject of gender, gender diversity and gender equality, and storytelling. Prior project work experience is a plus.
Tasks: assist with research of gender norms in stories, design workshops for youth, advise on rewriting stories with those youth and on how to disseminate the results of the project.
Offer: FEST offers the candidate a remuneration of 4.000 Euro for 20 workdays (aprox. 150 hours), spread throughout the year. The candidate must be available to attend a joint staff training in Italy (June 2024) and meetings in North Macedonia and Portugal in 2025. Travel to these meetings and accommodation will be paid for by the project.
