Emerging Storyteller Award

STORYTELLERS OF CANADA - CONTEURS DU CANADA EMERGING STORYTELLER AWARD AND TALES SCHOLARSHIP

Our Emerging Storyteller Scholarship offers four months’ mentoring by an accomplished SC-CC teller, plus admission to our upcoming conference, plus up to $250 in expenses for attending the conference. To celebrate the award, the recipient will be invited to perform at one of the conference events and will receive a year’s membership in both SC-CC and TALES.

The candidate should be

• already a storyteller or interested in the art of storytelling

• between the ages of 18 and 35

• living in the region where this year’s conference is being held (Alberta, 2017)
