A Degree of Truth

the midst of the Algonquin pines. Its motto is

"Veritas Quocumque Modo," "Truth by whatever

means" —whatever that means! Can a fledgling university thrive in a conservative lumber town? Life is anything but straightforward at MKU, as academics struggle for tenure,

administrators jockey for position, student radicals agitate for power, and lovers do what lovers do. In the midst of it all, Henry Cardwell contemplates retirement from the psychology department, but he has a few loose ends to tie up first.
