Afreina Noor

Afreina Noor is a Montreal-based storyteller, poet, improviser, and spoken word artist. She fosters connection through storytelling, leading programs that amplify voices in underserved communities. As a passionate storyteller, she performs at Confabulation and The Basement, exploring themes of identity, resilience, and belonging. She creates inclusive spaces where individuals shape and share their stories with confidence.
She leads Engagement and Outreach at Unsinkable, a mental health storytelling non-profit, and is the 2025 QWF Mairuth Sarsfield mentee for Spoken Word.
Afreina delivers storytelling workshops for the Quebec Writers' Federation's StoryScaping program, for youth and seniors, helping them craft and share their narratives.
