Russell Hirsch
Based in Vancouver, BC, Russell Hirsch performs folktales and original stories for kids and adults alike. Silly stories. Thoughtful stories. Stories full of imagination, heart, and magic—brought to life in schools, theatres, festivals, online events, and beyond! He regularly performs with the Vancouver Tellers, is a member of Storytellers of Canada, and teaches public speaking to kids at the Bolton Academy of Spoken Arts. He holds a BFA in Creative Writing and an MA in Children's Literature from the University of British Columbia. When not working on stories, Russell takes long walks in the forest, reads good books in comfy chairs, and goes on epic quests in search of ice cream.
