The Ottawa StoryTellers exists to promote the art of storytelling in our community, to nurture and inspire both beginning and experienced storytellers, and to provide tellers and listeners of all ages with opportunities to come together to share and enjoy stories.

OST hosts a number of events throughout the year: our Signature Series, featuring professional local, national and international storytellers, as well as Story Café, a monthly series at a local restaurant featuring local storytellers.

In addition, OST hosts free monthly Storytelling Open Mics and original personal storytelling (un)told event. We also organize the annual Children's Storytelling Festival. OST offers as a range of professional development activities from beginner's workshops to master classes.
