Margo McLoughlin tells many kinds of tales, from world tales of generosity, to her own translations of the Buddhist Jataka tales, and from stories of the West Coast of Canada (shipwrecks, forest fires, earthquakes and stubborn ghosts) to personal tales of life and learning. Margo has performed in schools, museums, art galleries and retreat centres from Vancouver Island to New York, Ireland, Wales, Zambia and Burma.

Margo is the editor of two collections of folktales: Seeds of Generosity: Storytelling in the Classroom and The Giving Heart: Folktales for Exploring Generosity. Many of her translations have appeared in Parabola Magazine.
