Lynda Bruce
Lynda Bruce, known for her colourful, light-filled paintings, discovered the art of storytelling in 2010 during an introductory workshop with Petronella van Dijk, and dove in with great joy. Since then, she has taken workshops with master storytellers including Jihad Darwiche, Pascal Quéré, Alberto Garcia, and Marie Lupien-Durocher.
With painterly sensibility, she tells traditional stories in both English and French, her adopted language. Her stories are heartfelt, and richly textured — like her art.
Lynda lives in Dunham, Québec, and has performed at various events including Les Semeurs de Contes and the festival, Les Jours sont Contés en Estrie.
