Liz's lifelong fascination with storytelling began in listening to her parents' stories of their lives "in the old country" and of their immigration to the U.S. She has lived in Halifax for many years, and has been telling tales for most of them, captivating the hearts and imaginations of audiences of all ages at museums, conferences, schools, festivals, senior centres and many other venues. She draws her programs from a wide repertoire of world tales, myths, legends, and personal stories, and also loves sharing her enthusiasm for the art of storytelling in her workshops with children and adults. She firmly believes that everyone has a story to tell, and with a little nurturing, everyone can tell a story!
