Ethnomusicologist, singer, teller - I sing stories and tell songs from many traditions - Sephardic from Morocco, Turkey, Greece and the Balkans; Spanish and Portuguese villages, Francophone Canada, Yiddish, Medieval Europe.... leading the audience through mini-labyrinths of the stories of the people I learned them from, and my own stories of traveling and singing. I am happy to present in English, French, Spanish or Portuguese, and to adjust programmes to different audiences. I often accompany myself with traditional string and/or percussion instruments. Based in Toronto, from Montreal, happy to travel; often based in Spain in the summer. I am happy to present in English, French, Spanish or Portuguese.
