Jane Amro
Jane Amro grew up in l’Abitibi in Northern Quebec, then spent many years as a McGill employee in the IT department. For pleasure, she sings with La Chorale Harmonia, plays the piano and performed in the cast of Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Gondoliers” a musical theatre event produced by the McGill Savoy Society.
As a storyteller, she enjoys entertaining her audiences with real life adventures and episodes from our histories. Occasionally a fantastical fictional tale is thrown in.
Jane has told at Confabulation in Montreal, at libraries and for special occasions. She is currently treasurer of the Montreal Storytellers’ Guild, and frequently tells at their venue in Westmount Library and on their Zoom events.
