Durham Storytellers is a dedicated group of avid tellers, who love to continue the oral tradition of storytelling. We tell myths, legends, folktales, fairy tales, as well as personal and family stories, inspirational messages, and historical accounts.
Durham Storytellers are actively involved in World Storytelling Day as well as Canadian Storytelling Night. Locally, we regularly tell stories at Pickering Museum Village, Simcoe Hall Settlement House, and Traditions of Durham Retirement Residence.
Guests are always welcome to our storytelling gatherings on the third Thursday of each month (September to June) at Northview Community Centre in Oshawa at 7:00 pm.
Come Listen, Come Tell, Catch the Magic!
