Claire Miller retired as a performing professional storyteller after more than thirty years of telling stories to all kinds of audiences, in all kinds of venues, throughout the Maritimes, Ontario, and New England. In 2015 she received an honourary Doctor of Letters from Saint Mary's University in recognition of her work as a "Maritime pioneer in the art of oral storytelling." She remains an avid listener and continues to research and learn about folklore and world tales.
