This versatile, physical, performer was born in the Caribbean (St. Kitts, W. I.) and raised in Eastern Canada (Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Riverview, New Brunswick). His stories entertain both children and adults.
An actor, singer-songwriter, language and arts educator, playwright, writer, workshop leader and motivational speaker, Anthony, a student of the human condition, has been described as a “gentle bear of a storyteller”.
Championing the oral tradition with song, verse, pantomime, basic guitar, and drumming, he, compassionately, interacts with audiences to share stories of challenge, cultural diversity, co-operation, and community building.
Anthony offers Storytelling Arts - Writing Workshops, and EAL Storytelling Arts - Writing Workshops for grades 3 and 4, 9 - 12, CLB/LAL levels 1 - 5, and Diversity Storytelling Performance Packages to the schools. He is an experienced Arts Facilitator with the Winnipeg School Division, "Engaging Fusion" Program, for Inner City Kids, and a performer at the annual Winnipeg International Storytelling Festival sponsored by the Arthur V. Mauro Centre for Peace and Justice, St . Paul's College, University of Manitoba.
Anthony has a Diploma in Theatre - Acting from Ryerson University's School of Performing Arts, and an English Degree from Mount Allison University where he, also, studied Theatrical Production.
