Storyteller and fabric artist Ann Rothfels lives in the Eastern Townships in rural Quebec. She has been telling stories for more than twenty years. She has written much of her own material, focusing on personal story. She delights in telling to all ages and makes appropriate adjustments, but her preferred audience is adults as they bring rich life experience to their listening. Known for her gently humourous way of telling, Ann has also been known to bring her listeners to tears. Ann's home has served as a haven for English-speaking tellers performing in the Sherbrooke festival "Les jours sont contés en Estrie" and she keeps a guest book specifically for this purpose. Ann's most recent story "The Ongoing Journey" was written in collaboration with Jan Andrews.
