Alexandre Matte
Formerly a finance professional in the cultural sector, Alexandre Matte is now a passionate speaker and professional storyteller who shares his love of stories with young audiences across Canada. A recipient of the Storytellers of Canada Emerging Storyteller Award and the 2022 World Championship of Public Speaking runner-up, he is frequently invited to events worldwide to share stories and speaking insights.
Specializing in storytelling for children and teens, Alexandre has visited schools in six provinces, helping students discover the art - and the joy—of storytelling. His performances also support the cultural and linguistic identity of French-speaking learners. At home, he hones his craft daily with his toughest audience: his three daughters.
