Premier festival de contes à Sudbury
COMMUNICATED
Sudbury, July 6, 2017. The folklore of Franco-Ontarian Center organized the first storytelling festival in Sudbury, from 11 to 14 October 2017.
The heart of the festival will be two storytelling nights with 4 storytellers each, the 13 and 14 October. On October 13, the evening is entitled "Our Roots". The second evening, "Our Cultures"
The festival will begin with a performance of one of our partners, The Slague, which presents Roger Dallaire and Daniel Gervais, on 11 and 12 October in Balfour and Sudbury East. This show includes both storytelling and music, making it a multidisciplinary and original show.

The creation of this show was made possible by Ontario 150 and the Fund Management Company of the Northern Ontario Heritage.
The Franco-Ontarian folklore Center needs the help of some volunteers to perform various tasks during the festival. Persons wishing to offer help are asked to call 705-675-8986 .
The folklore of Franco-Ontarian Center is a leader in the promotion and preservation of heritage. Its mission is to collect, preserve and enhance the Franco-Ontarian oral heritage. The work of its founder, Father Germain Lemieux, SJ, and the completion of the inventory of Franco-Ontarian heritage have earned it an enviable reputation.
