C'est avec bonheur que l’on vous dévoile enfin un nouvel épisode de notre balado Vide ton sac: tête-à-tête autour du conte! Après avoir produit les quatre premiers épisodes, on ne pouvait pas arrêter là, il y avait encore tellement à dire sur le conte.

In honor of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation Storytellers of Canada - Conteurs du Canada (SC-CC) will be hosting a virtual storytelling concert on the theme of Hope, Humor and Healing to celebrate the resilience, survivance of Indigenous stories and oral traditions despite the violence caused by residential schools. Call Summary
SC-CC is seeking an Indigenous graphic artist to create a piece of artwork that will be used on the concert poster and other graphic materials for the concert. The final file will need to be digital, but we are open to different mediums of artwork. The piece must be finalized by August 31st.
The artwork should be a reflection of the concert’s scope (Indigenous Storytelling) and theme (Hope, Humor and Healing). This is a paid opportunity, with the fee starting at $300, subject to increase based on artist rates.

Call for Artists: Storytellers of Canada – Conteurs du Canada Indigenous Storytelling Concert: Hope, Humor and Healing
In honor of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation the Storytellers of Canada - Conteurs du Canada will be hosting a virtual event on the theme of Hope, Humor and Healing to celebrate the resilience, survivance of Indigenous stories and oral traditions despite the violence caused by residential schools. We are looking for a variety of storytellers that can share contemporary and traditional stories and/or oral traditions that fit with this theme. This can include personal stories, family stories or cultural stories. Presentations should be approximately 8-10 minutes. Selected artists will receive an artist fee of $250.00.
Please fill out the Google Form and include how your story will fit into the theme. Artists must be available October 22 for the event and must be able to provide their own equipment suitable for an online performance (computer, strong internet connection, etc.,).

Hosted by the Cultural Bridging Unit of the Saskatoon Open Door Society, Threads: Cultural Conversations is a diverse event in both its representation and its execution. Part academic conference, part artistic celebration, and part sharing circle, Threads strives to unite all peoples through storytelling, knowledge sharing and creativity.
