In June, the Parliament of Canada recently issued a call for nominations to begin the search for Canada’s ninth Parliamentary Poet Laureate.
There is still time to nominate candidates: the deadline for nominations is September 16, 2019. |

Rene Fumoleau, StorySave teller, has passed away
Storytellers of Canada - Conteurs du Canada is saddened to share that StorySave teller Rene Fumoleau, has passed away. He spent his life as a priest, photographer, writer, and advocate for the Dene,
Fumoleau died on Tuesday August 6th, his 93rd birthday.
