Visitation and Memorial Service for George Blake

Arrangements entrusted to Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. E. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 1:00pm.
Visitation will take place two hours prior to service time from 11-1pm. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

It is with great sadness, we're sharing the news of the passing of SC-CC member George Blake on Wednesday night. George was 96 years old and lived a long, interesting, and colourful life. He was a supportive mentor and friend to many. He was a founding member of the Durham Folklore Society (now Durham Storytellers) since 1995. HOur condolences to his family and friend. He'll be greatly missed.

This workshop addresses the fact that artistic practice can entail unhealthy habits. Facilitated by a registered dietitian and a physiotherapist, this workshop will help artists gain individual insight into their own habits in regards to diet, exercise and sleep.
