The Trebek Initiative funds storytellers, educators, conservationists, innovators and researchers who are documenting Canadian and Indigenous land, wildlife, water, culture and history. 

The Trebek Initiative accepts applications twice annually.

Candidates who applied in October 2022 will be notified of decisions by March 30th, 2023.

The next application deadline is April 12th, 2023 at midnight (ET) with awards being announced in September 2023.
