Attention Quilt Raffle Lovers!
Join the "Help StorySave and Help Me Win the Quilt!" Fundraiser
Each year, a stunning, one-of-a-kind quilt is lovingly crafted by multiple members of Storytellers of Canada - Conteurs du Canada from across the country. The StorySave quilt is then raffled off to one lucky attendee at our annual conference, and the funds support the important work of the StorySave Program.
Winning the quilt has always been a tremendous thrill, and the raffle has been an important infusion of funds for the StorySave project.
This year, though, because of COVID-19, the quilt raffle cannot happen. But...
THERE'S STILL A WAY TO WIN THE QUILT!
How?
Join the "Help StorySave and Help Me Win the Quilt" Campaign, get your friends and family to donate to StorySave, and the participant who raises the most money by midnight (EDT) on June 30th wins the coveted StorySave quilt! Here's the link: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/storytellers-of-canada/p2p/StorySaveQuiltFundraiser/
It's easy. Click on the "Join as an Individual" button above to register. If you want to work in a team, you can do that too by clicking "Create a Team". Fill out your details, and then create your page.
Once you're done you will have an individual link that you can share through Facebook, Twitter, email or however you like!
Be sure to encourage people to click on your link and donate, and remind them that they will get a tax receipt for their donations. Also, remind them of the June 30th deadline!
When?
We are running the campaign between June 1 and June 30th, but you can start anytime between those dates. Just remember to get all your donations in by 11:59 PM EDT.

You can keep it simple and just copy and paste this blurb, or personalize it:
"I am one of many StorySave supporters competing in the StorySave Quilt Fundraiser. If I raise the most money for the StorySave Program, I win the coveted StorySave quilt!

Not only does your donation help the wonderful StorySave Program, you also get a charitable tax receipt for your donation...and my eternal gratitude!
