Notice of Passing: Curve Lake Elder Douglas Williams

It is with sadness that we learned of Elder Williams' recent passing. He was SC-CC's guest as Elder-in-Residence during the 2018 Conference held at Trent University in Peterborough Ontario.
He generously shared some of the traditions of Curve Lake First Nations by leading the opening and closing ceremonies and offering listening opportunities throughout the conference.
It was an honour for many of us to meet him at that time and learn from his wisdom, frankness and humour.
