Congratulations to SC-CC Member Dave Paddon!

Congratulations to Dave Paddon, whose children’s book Ralph, Flying Hound has been named one of the Top Ten Recommended Reads in the 2017 TD Summer Reading Club, the country’s largest bilingual summer reading program for children. This hilarious dog-bites-helicopter tale, illustrated by alex kolano and published by Running the Goat Books & Broadsides Inc., will have readers of all ages cheering for Ralph, one persistent pup.
A great favourite at storytelling events in his home province and across the country, Paddon has written dozens of original recitations inspired by his charmingly funny take on life in Newfoundland and Labrador. Most are available on audio CD, and several have been published as letterpress-printed chapbooks. Ralph, Flying Hound is his first children’s book.
