2021 Annual General Meeting notice & Members Surveys

AGM Notification
The Storytellers of Canada - Conteurs du Canada virtual Annual General Meeting will take place over two days on Saturday July 10th and Sunday July 11th, beginning at 1pm Eastern Time each day. Check your time Zone here. The AGM will be held virtually as a Zoom Webinar.
 
Please mark your calendar. A link for registration will be shared in early June.
 
This year’s AGM will include performances by the 2020 British Columbia Emerging Tellers—Deborah Goodman, Pat Forrest, and Lee Kalnin—and who sadly were unable to perform at the 2020 Conference. We look forward to hearing their stories!
2021 Member’s Surveys
Each year we ask our members for your valuable feedback to learn more about your experience as storytellers and how you engage with SC-CC. This information helps us to develop and plan for the future, engage effectively with members and the public, and grow as an organization.

This year it is more important than ever to hear from you. The goals of the 2021 survey are:
  • To collect data on how the lockdown is affecting our members
  • To learn to what extent members are interacting with online resources
  • To identify potential programming ideas for members
  • To assess how members are using their SC-CC benefits
  • To plan for upcoming Focus Group Topics and set priorities
  • To provide more detailed demographic information for our grant proposals

This survey will take around 20-30 minutes to complete. We understand it is longer than usual, which is why we are adding an extra incentive- everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a draw to win a StorySave Album of their choice!

Focus Groups
2021 Focus Groups will be held virtually during late May and early June. Groups will be 2 hours each, and we will try to schedule most Focus Groups on weekends. More details on Focus Group topics are included in the Members survey. We will be in touch again once dates and topics are confirmed!
