Local Groups - British Columbia - Nelson Storytelling Guild
A welcoming and safe environment for new and experienced tellers to share stories, the Kootenay Storytelling Guild meets on the first Sunday of each month at the Booksmyth, 338 Baker St, Nelson, BC.
We also have a summer season of regular storytelling at the Kokanee Creek Provincial Park near Nelson on Kootenay Lake. Every Saturday evening from the end of June to Labour Day there is an hour of storytelling at the park's visitors centre which has a beautiful little performance space seating about 80. Come early - we fill up!
And don't forget to check out the Kootenay Storytelling Festival at the end of September!
