The Conference will be held in Parksville, British Columbia on Vancouver Island at the Tigh-na-mara resort: 1155 Resort Drive, Parksville BC.


Tigh-na-mara Resort is where the Conference is being held. They have set aside rooms for the Storytellers of Canada Conference.

The rates at Tigh-na-mara are based on single/double occupancy. The additional person charge per adult per night is $20.00, or $10.00 for each child aged 6 to 17 years. Children 5 years of age and under are complimentary. Rates are subject to applicable taxes at time of the event (currently 15%)

 

Seventy ‘Run of the House’ rooms have been allocated to us and will be assigned on the availability of the unit types on the day of arrival by the Tigh-na-mara Resort. All viable requests will be taken into account when assigning individual room numbers.

Most of the rooms have a kitchenette. If you absolutely require one, please ask.

 

To reserve:  Make your reservation directly with the Reservations Department at 800-663-7373. They must be booked by March 31, 2022. Reservations after this date will be booked at the best available rate.

 

These rates will apply to three days before and after the Conference.

Cancellation is required within five days of your scheduled arrival.

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit with a major credit card.

There is also a website that provides information on places to stay. We can’t give you the prices right now. You will have to contact the places directly since, with COVID, some places are either no longer open, don’t have space available, or have different pricing options.
