Latest Announcements!

  • In Memoriam Stories & Remembering

On Thursday afternoon, July 7, some of the storytellers will be touring Vancouver on StoryWalks with the Vancouver StoryTellers from 1:30 to 4:00.  Some people will choose not to join the Walks and others will choose to join a shorter Walk.

Jan Andrews is going to conduct a “Stories & Remembering Drop-in” at the Conference venue that afternoon.  If you would like to join her and share stories about the storytellers we have lost this year (or even those we have lost in previous years), she would be delighted.  If you are not able to come to conference, but would like to share a story, please e-mail your story to scccpastpres@gmail.com.  Marva Blackmore will make sure they are given to Jan so that she can share them with those who come to the Drop-in.

  • You can now purchase individual tickets for SC-CC conference events on eventbrite: For the Saturday night concert: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/the-enchanted-bridge-an-evening-with-six-canadian-storytellers-tickets-26131540140
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances, Aline La Flamme is now unable to provide the Master Class as planned. However, our conference host, the Vancouver Society of Storytelling (VSOS), is thrilled that Flora Zaharia and Sandra Krahn will be running the master class in Aline's place. You can read more about Flora and Sandra, and the class they will be holding on the Master Class page (menu to the right). Please also note that the master class, which was originally scheduled to begin at 10:30 am, will now begin at 9:30 am and go until 4:30 pm. There are now two spaces that have become available in the master class so register now!

  • For those who would like to buy a la carte tickets to concerts or for meals for your guests, please contact Tara Hartley at  tara.hartley.bc@gmail.com
