SC-CC is pleased to announce Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, as the location for our next conference to be held July 4th - 8th, 2018. Trent University is located on the traditional territory of the Mississauga Anishinaabe covered by the Williams Treaty.
We acknowledge the leadership of the SC-CC’s Indigenous Advisory Council and cultural advisors from the First Peoples House of Learning at Trent University and Curve Lake Cultural Centre behind development of the conference’s program.
Official start of Conference 2018 is 5pm Thursday July 5 to closing with lunch on Sunday July 8.
Early Bird Member Price is $300, after April 30th: $350 for members and $375 for non members.

Wednesday July 4th options
- Six choices of 5 hour Master Class / Workshop (refreshments and lunch included) $150 (See Full Day Workshops and Master Classes Options on the menu on the right)
Thursday July 5 options during the daytime
- Four choices of local fieldtrips, 2 to 3 hrs each (guide, admissions, return bus) $20 per person for each trip (See Field Trip Options to the right)
- Bring your own equipment to swim, bike or walk trails on campus or a short drive away
Workshop Selections on July 6th and 7th:
2018 Conference is offering several programming choices for the afternoons of Friday and Saturday with a 30 minute refreshment break both days. For each day, you can pre-select EITHER two 90 minute sessions each afternoon, OR one 150 minute session each afternoon. To help make your decision, look through the conference program first for more details on the artists and sessions. Select your preferred session within the time slots. Remember: the later you register, the fewer choices there will be as when sessions fill up they will no longer be available to select.

Gzowski College, Trent University
Trent accommodation check in is between 2pm and 5pm on Tuesday July 3rd, Wednesday July 4th and Thursday July 5th, or individual arrangements are made directly with Trent for an added fee. (Check out is between 12pm and 2pm Sunday July 8th.)
$65 per person plus tax each night ($10 added per night for double occupancy.)

Please arrange your travel to be able to check in at the latest by early afternoon of Thursday July 5th to get settled in good time for the official start of conference at 5 pm Thursday July 5th.
