Welcome to the National House Concert Network

The National House Concert Network (HCN) is a service to members of SC-CC.  HCN is a knowledge-based resource that allows a teller to access a map and a host list in order to design their own tour.

A Storytelling House Concert is an event, usually held in a private home, where a Storyteller entertains friends and acquaintances of the home owner and expects payment for this entertainment; the home owner expects a professional, well rehearsed, and engaging performance from the Teller. The audience attends and contributes funds that are meant to pay the Teller or, with the agreement of the Teller, raise funds for a specific cause or charity.

The number of Host Houses are growing, and will be added to the site on a continual basis!  Below is a map indicating the current host cities of the National House Concert!  This is an added benefit resource to SC-CC Members.
