As an author and educator Anna knows that stories provide a foundation for literacy and bring children to a better understanding of themselves and others.

She works with the StoryJam program to in-service teachers and help students learn to tell their own tales.

Anna has told in schools and libraries, at festivals, at Word on the Street, the R.O.M. and at Pier 21 in Halifax.
