Join us this May 22- 28 at University of Alberta in Edmonton for SC-CC’s 2017 Conference: 150 Golden Threads


Please fill out the following registration form indicating your workshop choices, and optional master class and guest choices. Payment can be made using Paypal or by cheque. If it has been arranged that your conference fees are complimentary, please note this in the message box for SC-CC administration.

To purchase additional guest/partner passes, please visit TALES' Eventbrite site. The link will be available shortly.

Online registration for the conference closes at 10pm (EDT) on May 15.

Pricing:

$300.00 Members February 7 2017 – May 15, 2017 (registration closes May 15)

$355.00 Non-Members

$100.00 Partner/Guest Program includes entrance to all tours and evening events for 1 guest of an attending delegate.

$150.00 Master Class (registration closes May 15)

Please note: Due to popular demand, we're adding a 2nd Masterclass on MONDAY May  22nd. The first masterclass (scheduled for Tuesday May 23rd) sold out quickly, so register now to ensure a spot in the Monday class!



Refund Policy

If you must cancel your conference registration for any reason, please note our refund policy:

  • Full registration / partner or guest pass refund can be cancelled and refunded any time up to May 10, 2017, less $20 administration fee.
  • Cancellations made from May 11, 2017 and up to May 24th, 2017 are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • There are no refunds after May 24, 2017 unless there are extenuating  circumstances, as determined by the SC-CC Executive.

    REGISTRATION OPTIONS/FEES

    You may register and pay fees for yourself and, if applicable, your guest/partner, in one transaction. If you are planning on bringing a partner/guest, you MUST register any of their options  at the same time as you register yourself so we can be sure guests/partners are accompanied by conference participants. Please ensure all of your selections are correct before submitting the form. Once you have submitted, we cannot change your selections.

    Registration fees cover attendance at the AGM, Workshops, Focus Groups and the following meals and special events:

    • Tours (participants must pay their own bus fares and entrance fees on site)
    • Evening Concerts/Activities
    • Wednesday May 24th: Tea and snack with the Tea and Trolley Tour
    • Thursday May 25th/Friday May 26th: Morning and afternoon snack break plus lunch
    • Saturday May 27th/Sunday May 28th: Morning snack break 
    The following transportation will be provided
    • Wednesday May 24: Bussing provided from U of A to Tea and Trolley Tour and back
    • Thursday May 25: Bussing provided after evening StorySlam to U of A 
    • Friday May 26: Bussing provided after evening concert to U of A
    • Saturday May 27: Bussing provided after evening concert to U of A

    Online registration for the conference closes at midnight (EDT) on May 15th

    Latecomers who have missed the deadline for online registration can register  in person at the conference in Edmonton, if space permits. The cost for registering at the door is $300 (for members). 

    MASTER CLASS

    May 22nd and May 23rd: additional fee: $150

    *The class on May 23rd is now full.  Register now to ensure a spot in the May 22nd class!

    * Lunch and snacks provided to Master Class registrants
    ** Registration spaces for Master Classes are first come-first served

    Please note if you plan to attend.

    *Tours are free for conference attendees, though city tour participants are responsible for their bus fares and entrance fees where applicable (please see the Tours section for more information). Tea and a snack is included with the Trolley Tour.

    Please select only one option for the 9am to 1pm city tours.
